I should have come earlier, I am sorry buddy. The site looks awesome!

Alex R. You don't know how much it means to me to hear that you like the new site. I have put MANY hours of thought and testing into this. So far I absolutely LOVE Wordpress. Last night I was able to setup my Feedburner and Google Analytics in under 20 minutes thanks to some really slick Wordpress Plugins.

The site is still a work in progress in many areas. I am thinking of using Disqus as the commenting system. SolidSmack and SolidWorks Heard! have implemented it and loved it. I will probably give this one a little time to see how it pans out. Keep the comments coming.

Re: ALL NEW SITE & HOST!!

Hey Ricky, looks GREAT. love the colors and you did most the work with that car you did in the header! glad to have helped out man.

Re: ALL NEW SITE & HOST!!

Wow! I have put quite a bit of work into it.

Part of the advantage of the new site is that I can update links quickly. The first thing I was going to do this Thanks to all for the nice comments. I have put quite a bit of work into the new site.
First thing this morning when I got to work my plan was add some more links. (Yes - my wife's link was first on the list.). I got into work only to discover that our ISP has not updated their DNS cache! So the result is I cannot access my new site or more importantly the admin panel for posting. I am leaving this comment via my iPhone. I will try to get some updates done shortly via iPhone.

If you are into cooking then check out my wife's Blog at http://www.southernplate.com

She has only had the site up a few weeks and it is getting an amazing number of hits.

Re: ALL NEW SITE & HOST!!

Ricky,

Looks great! Congrats on the move, I know that's a lot of work! Before typepad would always run a 404 error after I would type in the "human verification" text.

Re: ALL NEW SITE & HOST!!

Great looking site Ricky. I really apologize for not getting back to you after the other night. I would still like to touch base sometime just to see how everything is going. Keep up the great work, I love the new look and feel!

Re: ALL NEW SITE & HOST!!

I just moved my blog from typepad.com to wordpres.com, and on the TypePad versus WordPress issue I would like to add that even a free hosted and domain-mapped blog on wordpress.com has much more flexibility than the same blog on typepad.com. And guess what, all my domain-mapped URLs at TypePad are automatically redirected to WordPress, and my post URLs are in fact redirected to the same post that now sits on WordPress. WordPress IS a great tool!
