Then used sldsetdocprop.exe to change these to solidworks part file. I have named these hardwares as different part nos and used in an assembly. Earlier I have used only one folder where I have stored all part, asm and hardware files. Now I need to distinguish these in three different folders like part, asm and hardware. While opening the asm, it asks about the location of parts and hardwares. I have provided the links for part nos. But for hardwares when it asks about location, it names the configuration instead the hardware no I gave while creating. e.g. The Toolbox component (B27.1-NA1-100) referenced by this assembly was not found. I want to completely remove the Toolbox reference from the part and identify it as a part. Please Help.

Regards
Subhasish

Re: Is it a Toolbox Part?

Just exactly what I needed, thanks for the information, it really helped me a lot..
