Since I don't have FloWorks and you DO....maybe you could Blog about it. :-) What kinds of things does it have that the 09 materials doesn't?
Ricky
I am trying to add yield strength to a plastic, using this materials screen. Yet every time I add the 'yield strength' under the custom tab, when I try to use SimulationXpress add-in it tells me that yield strength is not defined, which in turn does not allow the calculation of Factor of Safety. Any hints? Thanks!
Have you tried creating a Custom Materials Database? You can copy the plastic material from the SolidWorks Materials Database straight into your newly created database. At that point you should be able to redefine your yield strength. Unless something has changed, I believe the SolidWorks Material Database is read-only. This might explain the problems you have been having.
Let me know if this works for ya.
