You can copy the plastic material from the SolidWorks Materials Database straight into your newly created database.  At that point you should be able to redefine your yield strength.  Unless something has changed, I believe the SolidWorks Material Database is read-only. Yet every time I add the 'yield strength' under the custom tab, when I try to use SimulationXpress add-in it tells me that yield strength is not defined, which in turn does not allow the calculation of Factor of Safety.  Any hints?
