I will welcome the day when I can stop switching the measurement display from inch to metric or vice-versa. Mike Puckett has already posted some images of SW2009 at his blog which include a screenshot of the new measure tool: http://designsmarter.typepad.com/mikepuckett/2008/01/solidworks-wo-3.html

Best Regards,

Ricky Jordan

Re: SolidWorks World 2008: Wednesday General Session – Quick Review

Measurement tool will display in inches and metric in SWX09. To me This has got to be the most important improvement of them all. My heart actually skipped a beat when I read this. For any of us that has to work with the rest of the world this is a god sent. It is little practical things like this that make this software better. This is better than the new interface re-design for 08. I am going to sleep well tonight.
